Symposium 2010 a resounding success

Last year, to commemorate our 25th anniversary, we launched the inaugural SA Heart Cardiac Symposium to universal acclaim.  Symposium 2010 has now been held at the Barossa Novotel over the weekend of 20 and 21 March, again to ringing endorsement from participants.

The event was fully subscribed within a week of places being offered, with 110 general practitioners attending.  The family friendly emphasis saw 178 delegates and partners attend the Symposium dinner with 42 children enjoying a specially provided program over the weekend.

Drs Ayres, Button, Yiu, Zimmet, Hillock, Worthley, Akbar Ali and Sheppard were the Symposium presenters.  The quality and relevance of their presentations were greatly appreciated by the conference participants. The annual Symposium continues to build brand awareness of SA Heart as more than just a team of champions, but a champion team of cardiologists.
