The SA Heart 2011 Cardiac Symposium

The 2011 SA Heart Cardiac Symposium, held at the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort over the weekend of 14 & 15 May, has again been declared an outstanding success.

This valuable educational event was fully subscribed within a week of places being offered, with 110 general practitioners attending.  The family friendly emphasis saw 193 delegates and partners attend the Symposium dinner during which 45 children enjoyed a specially provided program and dinner of their own.

Drs Akbar Ali, Ayres, Bakshi, Begg, Button, Hillock, Philpott, Waddy and Yiu were the Symposium presenters.  The quality and relevance of their presentations were greatly appreciated by the conference participants. Delegates assembled at the conclusion of the program on both days for an interactive panel discussion following which cardiologists were available for further one-on-one discussions.

The annual Symposium continues to build brand awareness of SA Heart as more than just a team of champions, but a champion team of cardiologists.
